“We only stayed one night but the staff was so accommodating and friendly.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. A bonus was I didn’t even have to get out of bed to see the sunrise. The lobby area is beautiful and the breakfast was good. We would recommend this hotel for sure.”
“We will be back. And recommend this place to our friends.
This place had character. Charming on Sunday during breakfast there was someone from the Villas playing the piano. Very nice touch. Enjoyed the music. Thank-you! Everyone on staff was there to help if one need anything.”
“Forest Villas will be on our list from here on out!
The breakfast buffet was fresh, full-range. Housekeeping cared for necessities. Front desk helped with special requests. The lobby and garden landscaping were a welcome oasis from surrounding housing and commercial development.”

“We loved it!
The hotel and the staff were absolutely incredible! We were celebrating being newly weds and 7 years together. I love that it’s small, but still professional and well run! The prices are very affordable and the decor, darling you’re in for a treat. The chandelier dazzled me every single day. Thank you to the FVH team for making our stay so special!”
“This was a very exciting visit.
The employees very friendly. Breakfast was fast for an on the go family. The rooms were comfy and we really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place to people traveling or just want a getaway from the hustle bustle of every day life.
Thank you for making me feel great.”
“This was a hotel in a very nice area that was peaceful, clean and comfortable.
Came with breakfast. Had a wonderful lobby with a nice sitting area and a fireplace. Very peaceful and no televisions distracting with loud speakers. Service was excellent and all were very helpful with any requests.
Disliked · It was great. One of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at.”
“Relaxing and lovely stay.
Beautiful place. Everything was elegant and charming, including the staff. Plenty of choices in the boxed breakfast selections and plenty of comfortable seating in and around the lobby or outside patio. The pool and spa were perfect. The room was lovely and comfortable.”
“Excellent hotel choice for a stay in Prescott.
We stayed as a family (2 adults, 2 kids) and had a great time. Location is ideal for access to the town and national forest. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. The staff is exceptional–from their manager Jane all the way down. The pool and hot tub are great for the whole family and get excellent shade in the afternoon. “
“Best Hotel and Employees
We were treated courteously by Michael when making our reservation. My husband has special needs. Michael and Ashley saw to it that our accommodations were perfect. The General Manager, Jane, was as friendly as her employees. Hotel is sunny, open and pet friendly. Perfect for us while in Prescott.”
“I visited Forest Villas on New Year’s Eve.
It was a nice comfy hotel with everything you need. It was clean, elegant, and comfortable for the location. It’s right of the forest which made it an attractive destination. I loved it so much I took my family the week after and they all enjoyed it as well. If I’m honest, I didn’t expect much in the beginning but the employees went above to ensure our stay was perfect. I will definitely come back when I visit Prescott.”
Max the host was amazing! Nothing was a problem for him and he couldn’t do enough for us as guests. He was great with the kids and was ever so useful when giving tips for our visit to the Grand Canyon. This was as close as we could have got to staying in an American’s home as their personal guest. The B&B is a destination for any non-American wishing to experience a bit of home-life in America, rather than just a place to stay over.”
“Very enjoyable, good value for the money, will come again!
It had old fashioned charm like a live piano player and a magnificent chandelier in the lobby! We travel a lot and had food restrictions and kids this trip, but have not come across a more professional service experience. The staff and how thoughtful and kind they were, esp manager Richard, was simply exceptional! The Tesla charger in their garage was very convenient.”
I had an amazing stay at Forest Villas. I am a travel Nurse and arrived to Prescott without long term housing. I ended up needing to extend my stay multiple times due to a move in date being rescheduled at my extended stay. They were so accommodating, sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend, and was sad when my checkout day did arrive. I would have stayed my entire contract if they had of had availability!!”
Want to be treated like royalty? Try this unique hotel! The whole staff was very friendly, personable, and accommodating! The room and common areas were clean and comfortable! Our bed was a winner… not too firm and not too soft! Breakfast was delicious every morning! Our room (237) had a gorgeous view of the mountains! We felt right at home the first day! We will stay here every time we visit Prescott!”
“Cute, boutique style hotel
This is a very cute, “boutique” style hotel. We stayed here one night this past weekend, May 26, 2018. The grounds were so beautiful, there are rose bushes everywhere. It is so peaceful and I wish I would have spent more time in the garden. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the fact that breakfast was included, was definitely a bonus! We will be back this summer for another visit!”
“Very charming boutique-style hotel
So glad we found this gem! We had a Deluxe King Room with a gas fireplace and a two-person jetted tub. It was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed the balcony also. They hotel itself is beautiful – great open lobby with chandeliers. Breakfast was great – lots of delicious choices. It was also very convenient to downtown, Whiskey Row and all of the lakes. We especially enjoyed walking around Lynx Lake. This was far better than a chain hotel!”
“Charming hotel with amazing service and relaxing atmosphere
This is a beautiful, charming hotel with amazing service. Staff went above par to ensure we had early room access so we could view our daughter’s livestream college graduation. We especially enjoyed listening to the pianist during breakfast and relaxing around the firepits in the pool patio, by the lobby fireplace and on our private terrace. The fact that they allowed me free access to the huge gym facility across the street was a huge bonus. We loved this place and we wouldn’t dream of staying any where else when we’re in Prescott.”
It was lovely. We arrived later than check-in as we were sight seeing in the area. We called to let them know that we would be late and they were wonderful about us not being there. When we finally did check in, the front desk knew who we were and asked if we enjoyed our day adventure! We overlooked the main road and were a little concerned as other had mentioned traffic noise – never head a thing. Spent the evening in the lobby by the fire, enjoying a glass of wine and playing several of the assorted games they had available for their guest.”
“Great place if you’re traveling with pets
My wife and I attended a wedding in Prescott and couldn’t find a dog sitter for our Aussie. We arrived early (2 hours before check in) but when the front desk found out we had a dog (word to wise; call and let them know. $35 fee) they were very fast about trying to find us a room on the first floor (pet rooms). The manager had to check two rooms before he found one that was ready. Everyone was very helpful and kind even though we were early on check in. Breakfast was simple but good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They tend to cater to pets.”
Cory and the manager, Jeff, were fantastic helping to fix a problem at check in.
They went above and beyond what one would expect from a hotel.
The hot water for tea was happily replenished at night and an extra blanket quickly furnished for my wife.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again and rate it highly on comfort and facilities in the room for disabled guests.
My only missed a microwave in the room; however they did have one in the well appointed lobby.”
“A charming hotel in Prescott.
Easy access to Whiskey Row/ Gurley Street. The jacuzzi was hot, and the pool was refreshing. The balcony was cute and gave the room a bit of ambiance. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My friend has severe allergies to lavender and down feathers. We asked for a feather-free room and no lavender-scented soaps or cleaning products. They responded right away on the Hotels.com app, and when we arrived, the front desk clerk let us know that the room was feather-free and cleaned with fragrance-free cleaner. Breakfast was simple bagels, muffins, or egg and sausage burritos. It was nice to get out of the Phoenix heat and enjoy some greenery.“
Please express our appreciation to all of the staff, not only for our anniversary celebration evening, but for the rest of the time our family was there. All family members enjoyed a pleasant stay and were very happy that we chose Forest Villas for our 50th anniversary celebration. The venue was perfect for our ceremony and dinner, the tables looked beautiful, the meal was delicious, and the cake was something else. (wow)! You did a superb job in organizing all of the many details for the event and everyone was so attentaive to our desires/needs. To be sure, we will return at a later date to enjoy another stay! A big thank you to you all!”
“The night clerk was extremely helpful in making reservations.
Check in went smooth and easy. The price was competitive. When we arrived, We were surprised at the beauty and charm of this hotel.
Our room was plenty big, with TV, and small refrigerator.
They offered a free breakfast buffet and the staff made us feel so welcome and they were so helpful.
The breakfast nook was like sitting in a palace. A fire place and view of the pool outside. We would definitely come on our next trip. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so pleasant.
The best hotel in Prescott I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The staff are so welcoming and assist you with any questions or concerns. The Forrest Villa Hotel stands out above the cookie cutter cooperate hotels in the area. My wife and I stay in Prescott a lot and truly enjoy the area, so we celebrated our 29th year wedding anniversary. We truly had no idea about this secret gem and were very impressed. My wife really gave me the Kudos for finding this hotel on our special celebration. Furthermore, I have stayed at several hotels and have never been approached by all levels of management about our care and stay. Unfortunately, we have lost most hospitality hotels in ways of doing business this way. The Forrest Villa has not lost the vision and that’s why they stand out above the others. We are so thankful to all the staff and service they provide, they do care !!”
“You just need to go there to get it!
What hotel leaves a personalized birthday card (all employee’s signed their names) within your room? This nostalgic/boutique hotel excels at customer service beyond words. Beautiful grand piano with an excellent pianist playing started our Sunday morning as we ate a wonderful complimentary breakfast gazing at the beautiful setting outside the panoramic windows. Michael, Barry and Ashley are always so welcoming and know how to treat their guests. This hotel goes above and beyond! I love the quiet setting yet close to the action of downtown Prescott. The rooms are very clean and feel bigger than a standard hotel room in the big box world of accommodations. Gardens are spectacular …so peaceful and soothing! Pool has not been crowded … always relaxing and not loud or distracting. Thank you Forest Villas for making my birthday so special! See you again soon for another well needed respite:)”
After considering several mid-scale, pet-friendly lodging alternatives in the Prescott area, we selected the beautifully situated, 62-unit, Forest Villas Hotel for a family reunion of twelve, and, to a person (and the family dog), we could not have been happier. Hotel and staff exceeded every expectation, the former offering inviting, indoor and outdoor areas throughout the property for day and evening gatherings, perfect for groups large or small, and the latter always helpful, yet unobtrusive. A flawless, three-day stay, thanks especially to General Manager Jane and her staff. (Sorry, Yelp, no ‘mustard’ on this first-time review. As a tip, however, for those staying with a pet and preferring a king-sized bed, consider springing for the spacious, king-sized deluxe room. Among its amenities, Room 121 features a comfortable patio, convenient, stairwell access to covered parking, and plenty of space for small-group gatherings after a long day.)”
“@forestvillas is a cool little hotel in Prescott Az!
When you pull up it’s got a cool little water feature and a covered area to unload and check in. There is also a little grass area where there is a water fountain which makes for a peaceful area on a cool sunny day! When you walk in you a greeted by a big stair case, grand piano, bar and a nice lounge area. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. We got our room and it was as it looked on the website. I found the patio to be a really cool feature that you just don’t get with hotels much these days. The rooms aren’t huge but that’s fine they are perfect for a little weekend away! The hotel offers a breakfast in the morning and a pretty decent coffee bar! The pool and hot tub were nice. We only spent the evening in the hot tub but it looked like a nice set up! All and all it was a great weekend and we will definitely return! Highly recommend staying here! It’s only about 10 min to Whiskey Row!”
“Gem of Prescott
If you are looking for lodging in Prescott, AZ that is a step above ordinary, opt for a king deluxe room at Forest Villas. This meticulously maintained hotel combines warm efficient customer service with the old world elegance of hotels of the past. The moment you step into the lobby, your eyes will be drawn to the impressive crystal chandeliers and the sweeping grand staircase. In the cool evenings of January, the roaring fire at the end of the lobby creates a welcoming place to gather before retiring to your room. We also appreciated the option to sit on the patio with the fire pit to watch the sunset; perfect end to the day after the exploring the lakes in the area. Including visits to Lynx, Watson and Gold Water lakes is well worth your time if you are an outdoor enthusiast. We particularly enjoyed the hike around Lynx Lake with dinner at the Lynx Lake cafe afterwards. The hotel is conveniently located to the lakes, the museums, downtown, Whiskey Row and dining. Be sure and allow some time to enjoy your room after a busy day exploring. The spacious, sparkling clean, king deluxe room with the gas fireplace and the two person spa tub provides everything you need for a romantic evening with your significant other with glorious panoramic views outside on the balcony. Barry, from the time I called for a reservation, made me feel like a valued friend and gave me all the tips I needed to plan a grand adventure for our 4 day holiday. Jane, Jeff, Barry, Emma and all the staff provide a welcoming atmosphere that makes this hotel more than just a place to sleep for the night by combining a personal homey hospitality with elegant ambience. The tea and coffee bar available 24/7 is a nice touch, especially when Barry adds his home baked chocolate chip cookies to the mix. A hot breakfast is provided from 6:30 to 10:30 each morning. Emma does a great job in the cafe making sure everyone has what they need. We are already making plans for two more trips to bring our friends to enjoy this unique experience. One of the most relaxing enjoyable adventures we have had in our journeys made more so by having such a soft place to land at the end of the day.”
